Calling Tramore & Area

Parents and Guardians!

Rooted Futures is a pilot program for parents in Tramore and surrounding areas. Its goal is to create a vibrant community hub of learning, connection, and action in environmental sustainability.

We are looking for parents to:

  • participate in a series of hands-on workshops led by local experts

  • exchange skills and ideas in a spirit of leisure and curiosity

  • kickstart the beginning of the community hub at Ardscoil na Mara!

Workshops

The program runs 5 workshops in the school year. These seasonal events are designed to share knowledge, try-out new skills, and reimagine how we connect with nature and each other. Themes range from ecology, cooking, energy, waste, digital demands, and more - adapting to the needs and interests of the participants as they emerge.
