About
Wild Wreaths
How can we turn down the dial on consumerism at Christmas? Join us for a festive and creative afternoon where we'll explore some answers together with local artist Síle Walsh.
We'll make wreaths out of natural and upcycled materials and get inspired by Sile's practice of making incredible art out of found materials.
Over mulled wine and baked treats (this kind of consumption permitted), we'll also explore:
Why sheep's wool is going to waste in Ireland & how we can use it in gifts and crafts.
The many functions and inspirations of cardboard.
Ways to use plants, fruit & other natural materials for festive decor.
Creative practices with beach and shoreline found items.
We hope you'll join us!
